BLS Founder and Director Patrick Murphy will be following in the footsteps of Princes William and Harry and is participating in a Global Enduro Road Challenge. Karma Enduro 2010 takes place in India to raise funds for two charities: Adventure Ashram and the UK's Rainbow Trust.
Driving 2,000 kms across Europe in a modern car is no challenge. Driving 2,000 kms across India's Western Ghat Mountain range and crossing the hazardous and diverse terrain of Goa, Kerala and Tamil Nadu in Southern India is not be taken lightly.

And if that isn't enough! How about doing it in a 1950s car? The 37 horsepower Ambi (like an original Morris Oxford). Then add elephant and other wildlife that have never read the Highway Code and the most chaotic road system on earth.
The Karma Enduro is not for the faint-hearted as it will challenge to the limits participants' awareness, commitment and spirit. Above all, it is not a race - the challenge is to complete the course in one piece.

The route includes ascending and descending high mountains, crossing fearfully hot and arid deserts, getting through crowded cities and remote forests. Just a day or two would be enough but driving these cars in these conditions for two weeks in 90 degree heat is a serious challenge of endurance, hence Karma Enduro.
This is a worthy cause so please give what you can.
