HRH Prince of Wales visits

Prince Charles is to visit Bury St Edmunds for a Freedom of the Borough parade for troops from Wattisham Airfield.

The Prince of Wales will be at the ceremony on July 22, which will see him present Afghanistan campaign medals to members of the 3 Regiment Army Air Corps, which operates Apache helicopters.

Students of BLS English will be watching HRH land in his helicopter and listening to his speech on Angel Hill right outside the school. BLS English is even supplying the electricity for his microphone!

British Council Accreditation

BLS has been fully accredited by the British Council and English UK for 5 years

Accreditation UK is a quality assurance scheme for providers of English language teaching services. The Scheme operates as a partnership between The British Council and English UK. The aim of the Scheme is to protect international students who are studying or planning to study in the UK. This is achieved by external inspection, ensuring that providers that are accredited through the Scheme meet agreed quality standards. Providers that meet Scheme standards are 'Accredited by The British Council'.

British Council inspectors visit our school to examine the premises, teaching, welfare and administration. This encourages excellence and ensures that all students will be well taught and cared for.

Supervision and Safety
Students are under the constant care and attention of our experienced staff from the moment of arrival in England until they go home. Particular attention is paid to safety.

Quality Assurance
Students are regularly consulted about their lessons and the staff meet to discuss progress and issues of concern. This helps to ensure high standards on an ongoing, daily basis.

Parental Contacts
A list of parental contacts worldwide is available on request. Any of the parents will be willing to discuss their child's experience of the course.
