Forest Trail Academy accepts international students seeking to achieve their U.S. high school education

High School Equivalency Exam (HSEQ)

Are you considering getting your GED? Forest Trial Academy offers a diploma with our HSEQ Program online. The HSEQ program can be completed in as little as 2-6 weeks; however, you have 90 days to complete all coursework from your enrollment date. In order to participate in the High School Equivalency Exam (HSEQ) program, you must be 18 or older.
The High School Equivalency Exam is composed of six (6) sections: Language Arts: Reading, Language Arts: Writing, Language Arts: Essay, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies. Four (Language Arts: Reading, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies) of the six components are comprised of multiple choice questions. Seventy percent (70%) or better must be attained on each section in order to receive a High School Diploma. Because Forest Trail Academy (FTA) is committed to your education, we allow each student one (1) extra opportunity free of charge to retake the test should you fail the HSEQ test on the first attempt.

If you attains less than a 70% on any section, please contact the main office in order for us to reset the HSEQ test. The four sections that are comprised of the multiple choice are automatically graded and that you will receive your grades immediately. However, please allow seventy-two (72) hours for the essay/writing component of the test to be graded.

After completing the High School Equivalency Exam (HSEQ) program with a 70% or better on each section, please submit a signed transcript request form (TRF). Your transcript will be faxed, mailed to your home, and or institution of your choice. Once we verify that your academic requirements have been met and tuition has been paid in full, your will receive your High School Diploma in 6-8 weeks.

Students enrolled in our individual courses can concurrently enroll with another public/private school with approval and signature of the public school principal, required on the enrollment form. Students taking three or fewer classes at their local school qualify for dual enrollment with Forest Trail Academy. Students taking four or more courses in one school are considered full-time and are ineligible to enroll with another school unless prior approval is granted by the public/private school.
