School Social Programme

Students are invited to join in on school social events - many are free of charge for BLS students. There are also regular trips to places of interest around the UK such as Cambridge, Brighton, Windsor, Oxford, Colchester and Windsor.

Exams
Bury Language School is an authorised University of Cambridge Exam centre for PET, FCE, CAE and CPE as well as offering preparation for IELTS and organising TOEIC.

UK Summer Courses

Bury Language School has 13 years experience of providing quality summer English language courses for teenagers and for adults. Courses are designed for total immersion with great nationality mixes and extra opportunity to speak English through carefully-checked host accommodation.

Our Students

Typically our students are from all over the world. Our nationality mix is one of the best around. Students are an average of 24 years-old. It is normal for us to have students as young as 14 on the summer teenager programmes, and as old as 70 on our adult intensive programmes. Students stay on average for 10 weeks.
