Courses For Adults, Teenagers or Groups

BLS English is open 48 weeks of the year and runs courses for adults and teenagers. Summer is our most popular period so please ensure early booking to guarantee your place. Last summer we were fully booked in July.

Maximum Class Size: 15 – average outside of summer 8
Average age all year: 24-25 years old
Minimum Age: September to June 16+ years
Summer Adult Course: 18+ years
Summer Teenager Course: 13-17 years

It is possible to start any Monday for a minimum of 2 weeks. We test you before you arrive and will assess your needs to be able to support and advise you from start to finish. On your first day in school you will sit a more detailed English language test so we can place you into the most suitable class. You will have daily homework and weekly progress tests so we can check your progress and help you achieve your goals. We want you to be happy and we do everything we can to make this experience as productive as possible.

Intensive English with IELTS

This option consists of 23 hours per week so is an extremely intensive programme that combines General English with exam skills and IELTS technique to help achieve an IELTS score for university, for your career or any other reason. We will polish your grammar, look at exam technique and ensure you have the key vocabulary to boost your essay writing and spoken interview performance. Intensive General English Courses

Start any week
Immersion courses of 15 or 23 hours per week for students who want to quickly improve their level of English as part of a small mixed nationality group. You will use the latest course books and learn through interesting discussions and traditional grammar approaches. Pronunciation is also an important component of the course.  We will test you on arrival to check your level and choose your class. General and Intensive English Fees 2013

Summer 2013 Teenager Courses – 13-17 years

Minimum of 2 weeks
Intensive courses for success. Weekend cultural and historical activities and excursions. Native English host accommodation for total immersion. Exams and certificates.

Intensive English with Examination Preparation

To help prepare you for your exam, BLS English will provide the grammar, vocabulary and skills essential for any exam. You will study 23 hours per week and combine General and Exam focus. Executive Individual English Courses

Start any week
Extremely intensive one-to-one programmes for your chosen area of business or to achieve your personal goals. You will be carefully assessed and interviewed on arrival and your learning targets planned out. This course aims to get the most out of any individual in the shortest possible time.
