English Language Courses

For Adults, Teenagers or Groups

BLS English is open 48 weeks of the year and runs courses for adults and teenagers. Summer is our most popular period so please ensure early booking to guarantee your place. Last summer we were fully booked in July.
School Holidays: 2nd April and 5th April for Easter, 14th - 18th June 2010

It is possible to start any Monday for a minimum of 2 weeks. We test and interview fully on arrival so do not worry about your level or joining a group. You will have daily homework and weekly progress tests so we can check your progress. We want you to be happy and we do everything we can to make this experience the best of your life.

Intensive IELTS

This option consists of 24 hours per week so is an extremely intensive programme that works towards achieving an IELTS score to help for university, for your career or any other reason. We will polish your grammar, look at exam technique and ensure you have the key vocabulary to boost your essay writing and spoken interview performance. The academic content of this course helps to prepare for life at University. Click for fees

Intensive General English Courses

Start any week
Immersion courses of 15 or 24 hours per week for students who want to quickly improve their level of English as part of a small mixed nationality group. Courses are mornings only (15 hours) or both mornings and afternoons (24 hours). You will use the latest course books and learn through interesting discussions and traditional grammar approaches. Pronunciation is also a major part of each lesson. We will test you on arrival to check your level and choose your class. Click for fees

Summer 2010 Adult or Teenager Courses

Minimum of 2 weeks
Intensive courses for success. Weekend cultural and historical activities and excursions. Native English host accommodation for total immersion. Exams and certificates.

Intensive Cambridge Examination Preparation

Start any week
Cambridge Exam Courses are 24 hours per week for intensive study that will help with all aspects of the exam. PET, FCE, CAE or CPE exams are internationally recognised and reflect real English in real life situations. There is an exam for most levels of English. Each exam covers the four main language skills - reading, writing, listening and speaking.Click for fees
